9.5 Million Reasons to Laugh

Rangers managed to get £750,000 with their latest share issue. That is 3 share issues now in the space of 11 weeks, surely some Rangers fans must be getting slightly concerned.

If you read the Daily Record though you would think this is a good thing.

According to the Daily Record this creates a “cash boost opportunity” but realistically it means Rangers needed cash asap for expenses, player wages etc.

I know the Daily Record like to keep the Rangers support happy with their articles but that is actually embarrassing, nothing that is going on with these non-stop share issues is any type of opportunity.

When the original Rangers died their fans where saying why did nobody tell us what was going on, thing is anybody who did was attacked and ridiculed and now history is repeating itself.

The last thing the Rangers board needed at the moment was exactly this sort of situation…

The Elite Sports Group are now suing Rangers for £9.5 million after they breached a contract for them to supply kits.

“Lawyers for Elite say the breach occurred when Rangers signed a deal with Castore. On Thursday, during a short virtual hearing at the court, advocate David Thomson KC told Lord Braid that the case wasn’t being abandoned” (Quote from the Sun)

Michael Beale said in an interview 3 weeks ago that Rangers would have “an unrestricted summer transfer budget” for their sake maybe its about time they start actually being truthful with their fans.
