Fabrizio Romano has tweeted out that Ange has already agreed terms with Tottenham.
The deal is until June 2025 with a one more year option included with Spurs just waiting for Celtic to confirm.
I think we have all just accepted now that Ange is leaving but what concerns us now is who is he taking with him, amongst coaching staff John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan and players our top scorer Kyogo is also being mentioned.
I know a lot of supporters don’t want Brendan Rodgers back but I think he would be one of the best options.
Ange leaving us now just gives us another reminder that as soon as an English club is interested players and managers are usually off as soon as possible.
The way Rodgers left still pisses a lot of us off but nobody can deny the guy is a top football manager.
That is exactly what we need right now, a proven top coach. I don’t want us appointing anyone right now who hasn’t been there and done it ie. No up and coming coaches who have potential.
Rodgers would have continued success at Celtic and wipe the floor with Sevco and Beale.
