Celtic bid accepted for international goalkeeper
According to Fotomac in Turkey, Celtic have had a bid for Dominik Livakovic accepted.
According to the Turkish news agency, Celtic offered €9 million (£8 million) for the Croatia international, and Fenerbahce agreed to accept the deal because the 29-year-old wants to leave Turkey.
Livakovic, 29, is eager to leave Istanbul despite having only joined his present squad last year.
It is thought that the player from Zadar want to depart because of an incident in April in which Trabzonspor fans invaded the pitch and fought Fenerbahce players.
According to the source, Fenerbahce has already agreed to
sign Mattia Perin as a replacement for the Croatian, while Celtic will make an
official announcement shortly.
Livakovic made 47 appearances in all competitions last season, keeping 21 clean
sheets and allowing just 46 goals.
